Biography, Heavily Abridged
I was born in Indiana, raised in Indiana, then Mississippi, Florida and then Indiana again. Things started to settle down around 10th grade and I spent my last three years of high school living in a double-wide trailer, smack in the middle of a 120 acre hay farm in Mt. Summit.
In school I did many things: baseball, football, drawing, painting, sculpture, creative writing, track, golf, newspaper, D&D … I finally taught myself how to play guitar after my (step)Mom and Dad bought me a used electric guitar and amp for my 17th birthday. I didn’t find out how couragous an act that was for them until a little over a year later—but that’s a whole other story that has not as of yet involved any branch of law enforcement.
I never wanted to go to college, but I’m glad I did, because there I did many more things. But most importantly, there is where I met the future mother of my children and future wife, both of which are the same person. We made a family, grew up a little and now spend our days in Westfield, Indiana, where we’re trying to do more things.
